Formula for success: cross-divisional technical support

Customer: NTA Metropolitan Mass Transit Systems
First part of the planned light rail network with a total length of 150 km and 109 stations. After its commissioning in November 2022, the Red Line will be complemented by the Green and Purple light rail lines currently under construction.
Routing: The 24 km long light rail line will run from Petah Tikva via Tel Aviv to Bat Yam. It will comprise 11 tunnels and 34 stations, 24 of which will be above ground and the remaining 10 will be below ground.
Vossloh‘s pooled scope of delivery:
  • 134 sets of different types of Vignole and grooved rail turnouts with the system 336
  • Slab track with Bi-Block sleepers and the highly elastic system W 21 for Vignol and grooved rails
  • Cavity filling elements adapted to the sleeper design (Bi-Block & bed)
