Scope of delivery

Rail Fastening Systems:

  • 720.000 sleeper sets W21 HS
  • 90.000 sets of System W300-1

Turnout systems:

  • 25 single turnouts Tg.1/9-R=300m – with fixed point
  • 17 Single turnouts Tg.1/12-R=500m – with fixed point
  • 18 single turnouts Tg.1/12-R=500m – with movable point
  • 48 single turnouts Tg.1/18,5-R=1.200m – with movable point
  • 39 single turnouts Tg.1/24-R=CL 2.200/1.700m – with movable point
  • + 20 sets of spare parts

Challenges during the project

Dealing with the impact of recent events
100% rail transport of the turnouts with the use of flat wagons
One train per month with 2 wagons for switches & switch rail fastenings
Approx. 20 days transit time for the almost 4,000 km from Ystad in Sweden to the customer in Bandirma
Unloading, assembly & acceptance of the turnouts on site by the customer (first FAT in the factory)
Components for the fastening systems came from the highly automated plant in Werdohl, FAT took place in Werdohl
